Kris and I have been attending Saltburn Folk Festival and its predecessor the Redcar Folk Festival for 5 decades and a few years ago our old but now sadly departed friend, John Taylor, invited us to act as patrons. Like all live music events the festival was but in 2022 a new team came together to organise the festival and I joined them as a director. The Festival was a success and we have ambitious plans for 2023!

In Lewisham the force of nature that is my very good friend Wozzy Brewster runs the wonderful Midi Music Company and does extraordinary things for our young people
